Rutabaga Fries

Ingredients
1 Large Rutabaga, peeled and cut into fry wedges.
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 - 2 tbsp olive or grape seed oil
Emeril's Essence

Directions
Preheat oven 400 degrees F

Peel and slice the rutabaga in french fry shapes.
Place them in a large bowl and add remaining ingredients tossing them together until the fries are thoroughly coated with the essence.

Place on baking sheet (either non stick or aluminum lined foil cookie sheet with Pam sprayed on it)
Bake 25 minutes, turn fries and bake 15 minutes more until the fries are golden brown and a fork goes into the fry.
Remove from oven and serve immediately.

Sprinkle in some of your essence mixture
Lightly coat them.

Yield: 2/3 cup
